Airstream of Chicago and their parent dealer, US Adventure RV, needed an fully realized website to build it’s brand awareness in the Chicago market. They had a single page but it was not generating much traffic and it did not do a great job in representing the brand.

Solution Space Technologies, within 5 days, was able to fully realize a fully functional site with relevant content about the dealership and the Airstream brand.

Entertaining Company and its founder and Grand Dame, Wendy Pashman, realized their flash based site was not driving enough web traffic to discover their portfolio of brands and events.  They were unable to self manage content on their site for all their brands.  Finally, their site was invisible to search engines because of their site technologies.  Solution Space Technologies worked with Entertaining Company’s marketing and graphic design firms to deliver an updated Information Architecture to make the site easier to navigate.  Then taking delivered designs, created the site on a content management platform that allows EC managers to update content themselves, keeping it fresh and relevant.

After launch, site visitors increased dramatically and bounce rates were significantly reduced making for a very happy client.

TotalDishMarketing.com

Total Dish Marketing, a Chicago based marketing company needed a new website.  They needed a site that was elegant in its look, modern yet accessible, easy to navigate and self maintainable.  Other goals included a site that would maximize opportunities for Search Engine Optimization and keyword exposure.

Working with a graphic designer who created the look, we took the designed assets and created the site.

Technologies and tools include, Dreamweaver CS4, CSS to style the page templates, OpenCube for navigation and a PHP form mailer script.  It is being hosted on the Linux, Apache, MySql, PHP technology stack.

E-Commerce for food and beverage ordering

– National foodservice provider at sports & entertainment venues

This site was designed to allow for advance ordering of food and beverage for future events.  The site is an integrated solution that tied customer orders together with the backend delivery application

Work performed for this project included, internal team project management, requirements definition, deliverable validation and management of the system integrator and creative agency team hired to design and develop the site.

Technologies include IBM Websphere Commerce Enterprise, Oracle Applications.

Corporate Intranet

– National restaurant and foodservice company

After being on an internally developed and functionally challenged intranet application for several years, a new corporate intranet site was launched.  The new site allowed for greater collaboration, brand messaging and as a business tool for departments to communicate their respective messages.

Using a content management solution approach, business owners responsible for maintaining these documents were able to easily add new or update exiting procedures as needed to respond to changing business requirements.  Previously, these changes were made by IT staff in static HTML pages.

Roles and work performed for this project included co-Executive Sponsor, project management, information architecture, creating wireframes, site development and creating end user training (CBT and classroom).

Technologies:  Microsoft Sharepoint.

Corporate Website

– National restaurant and foodservice company

The new corporate site was a complete overhaul of the previous site.  The new site introduced content management, careers section, improved search for venues and improved platform for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Roles and work performed for this project included co-Executive Sponsor, project management, content creation, 3rd party development management, development and creating end user training (CBT and classroom).

In 2004, this site was awarded Outstanding Achievement in Website Development by The Web Marketing Association.
